Weird Things

                 This website is really becoming chop-suey, if you don't know what that means it's a mixed plate in chinese. I guess I could put up a blog but I'm too lazy and I like it here just fine. :-)

               Check out these pictures of what my Mom made me eat.  Is she trying to kill me by way of poison?  Haha...  I would have thought so when I saw that thing but she ate a piece first. 

             It's called a "Dragon Fruit."  I've never heard of it before even though I do occasionally eat weird things (I'm chinese-american).  Ok, before you ask, no I don't eat dog or weird animals.  But I do know what a lycee or a durian is (both are exotic fruits) and can be found in chinatown in some US cities. 

             Does eating exotic fruits and food make me an open-minded and perhaps an exotic kind of girl? Haha...

             Ok, I did try it. I actually put it in my mouth, chewed, and then swallowed.  I admit it.  I succumbed to Motherly pressure and caved.  It wasn't digusting if that was what you thought.  It was all purple inside with tiny black seeds all over the place.  It was sweet tasting.  The black seeds were edible too.  And the purple dye seems to make my lips and tongue purple for an hour (ok, maybe a few hours). 

             I'm still alive.  Yea!!!  No poison.
